Service quality assurance represents one of key challenges related to design and management of services in next generation IP networks. The course introduces basic metrics for determining the service quality level, service quality related application requests and concepts for providing network QoS using different technologies. Practical part of the course includes a demonstration and configuration of QoS parameter settings on a router.
