Transport Networks

The course provides a basic technological overview of provisioning efficient back-bone networks. These networks represent a basic infrastructure of telecommunication services by connecting different telecommunication networks and systems. The course presents the architecture and topology of different transport technologies, services which enable them as well as aspects of providing high availability and management.
