Network design and engineering

In this course, expert level knowledge and skills are provided on the topics of network design and engineering. The attendees are given a comprehensive overview of traffic engineering principles, traffic models and traffic characteristics. Following, modeling of different types of communications is addressed and detailed insight into network design and engineering principles and practices is provided. Traffic analysis and metrics, aggregation models, access network topologies and service models. Practical experience in xDSL access network planning is given.
